Invitations to register for the Spider Parent Portal are sent via email to families new to the school in late January. If you have not received your invitation or if you can't remember your username or password, please email datateam@stdoms.ac.nz
At St Dominic's Catholic College, we have moved away from paper reports and now your daughter’s subject assessment information is presented in a continuous reporting format.

Whole school conferences are held during the school day. Students only come in for their 15 minute conference appointment. The purpose of this conference is:
To set academic goals and discuss progress;
To empower every student to take charge of their own learning;
To develop the relationship between you, your daughter and her academic coach.

Our St Dominic’s College App is available for Android and Apple devices. Search St Dominic’s Catholic College from the Google Play Store or App Store and choose the one published by Com-Assist Solutions Pty Ltd.

PCS Route App
PCS Route is a free app for mobile devices that allows parents to follow the current location of transport leaving/returning to the College from trips, camps etc.

SCHOOL PROCEDURES:
Absence / Late
If your daughter is going to be late or absent for the day, parents/caregivers are required to let the school office know before 8.45am on the day of the absence. This also applies to each day of absence if lasting more than one day. Email absentees@stdoms.ac.nz . Phone 09 839 0380 x 8822 or message through the St Dominic's College App.
Leave Pass
No students may leave the school grounds during the day, including interval and lunchtime, without an Exit Pass. To receive an exit pass from the Dean, students must bring a note dated and signed by parent/caregiver requesting leave during the day. The note needs to state the reason for leave eg doctor's appointment.

The Parent Teacher Friend Association is a very active body within the College which meets regularly and always welcomes new members. Meeting dates will be notified in the newsletter and on the College Calendar. The main function of the PTFA is to promote a spirit of community amongst College staff, parents and the Board of Trustees. It assists in providing better amenities for students and staff by holding fundraising projects throughout the year.
The PTFA also manage second hand uniforms, as they are available. We gladly accept pre-loved donated uniforms. Please contact the College office for details.

Lunch Orders now available! Lunch Orders is a convenient and contactless online lunch ordering platform. Parents will be able to browse the new Eat Smart menu and order or schedule a meal anywhere at any time. Your order is then sent to the tuckshop where it will be made fresh on the day, ready for your hungry learner to pick up at lunch. Easy as that! Rest easy knowing that your daughter’s nutritious lunch is sorted with Lunch Orders.
