St Dominic's Day 2024 was a joyous occasion honouring our Patron Saint, St Dominic. The Mass, led by our school Chaplain Pā Tipene, brought our Dominican Community together to celebrate our Charism and to reflect on the life and legacy of our school's namesake. Through prayer, song, dance, and thoughtful reflection, we marked his feast day on August 9th, recognizing St Dominic's faith journey and the enduring presence of our Dominican sisters.
During the celebration, we also blessed our newly confirmed Eucharistic Ministers, who have committed to serving the school community by sharing the Eucharist. The Dominican Sisters joined us, adding a special significance to the day as the St Dominic's Catholic College whanau united to keep his spirit alive and carry forward the legacy of Veritas.
