Sheilah Winn Auckland Regional Shakespeare Festival
In April, nine Year 11 students competed at the inter-school competition, Sheilah Winn Auckland Regional Shakespeare Festival at Avondale College.
They performed three scenes, in the five minute student directed section, which were very well received. Bella Rennie, Katie Jackson, Lou Lou Mackenzie, Sovita Ah Him, Sumintra Kumar, Nicole Chang, Molly Day, Olivia Matson, Skylar Canovas and Shaanvi Chand performed and / or directed scenes from Romeo and Juliet and King John. Adjudicators made a special mention and acknowledged Bella Rennie’s performance for her scene with Katie Jackson from King John, which Bella also directed.
Mrs Lambert and whanau were very proud of these amazing Drama students! Well done!
