Hope Week for DRC

We experienced a truly meaningful week filled with both joy and purpose, as we came together to raise awareness about the crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In a world where such urgent issues often receive little media attention, we were reminded of our Dominican charism's call to seek truth and advocate for justice. Our dear friend and gifted gardener, Lema, shared her personal story and educated us about the ongoing struggles in her homeland. Her courage and willingness to speak out helped us understand the significance of standing in solidarity with those who suffer.

The week was filled with Prayers, Liturgy, dance teaching, and chalk drawing which showed the outpouring of compassion and the generous support shown by our community. Together, we lived out our call to be a light in the world and to do all that we do in love, using our voices and resources to bring hope where it is most needed.
