The Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award is a leading, structured, non-formal education youth development programme, empowering young New Zealanders aged 14-24 to explore their full potential.
The Award is a fully inclusive with no social, political, or religious affiliations.
The Award focuses on encouraging young people to make independent decisions and to negotiate priorities through regular participation in a range of activities for the required length of time at each level.
