The Senior College curriculum option choices for Year 11 to 13 are broad. Students are encouraged to take a balanced course at Year 11 and then to further refine their interests and strengths as they move up through the College.
The Senior Options booklet has detailed course outlines for all the subjects available to senior students, click here to read.
The AME (Achievement, Merit & Excellence) High initiative provides students with a clear path to achieve their academic successes. Annual goal-setting and regular review of achievement, combined with coaching from academic coaches and teachers, enables students to take ownership of their learning. This habit empowers students in continued improvement and lifelong learning beyond secondary school.
Whanau and Academic Coaches can view and comment on a student’s AME High academic goals on her Goals page or Strategic Planner.
Your daughter’s academic coach will be either her whanau teacher, her dean, or one of the additional coaches. If you are unsure of who your daughter’s academic coach is, please contact the College Office.
